Premier Calls On Ethiopians To Defend Ongoing Reforms From Threats Of Conflicts
Addis Ababa, December 7, 2018 (FBC) –Ethiopians are gearing up to celebrate the 13th Nations, Nationalities, and People’s Day (NNPD) tomorrow.
The Day, on which the rights and equality of the Ethiopian nations, nationalities, and peoples were fully guaranteed, will be celebrated in the capital Addis Ababa.
In his message to the people of Ethiopia, Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed has called for unity to overcome current challenges.
The Premier urged all nations and nationalities of Ethiopia to uphold their age-long culture of unison.
He also called upon the public to stay vigilant and stand united against those who sow seeds of enmity, hatred, and division among nations and nationalities of Ethiopia.
“We have started the new path to change with the spirit of togetherness and we need to defend this promising change,” he said.
The Prime Minister also called on the people to protect the ongoing countrywide reforms from the threats of conflicts, mob justice, and irrationality.
